Music at Genesis

    
   Genesis has a great history of providing worship music of fine quality and variety. Musical opportunities at Genesis include the Chancel Choir, serving as cantor, and providing instrumental music. We also have a quartet of handbell players who provide worship music.    
 

Chancel Choir

    
  The Chancel Choir is open to all of high school age or older. The ability to read music is not required, although it is helpful. Anthem selection includes a wide variety of musical styles and genres. The Chancel Choir usually presents a special offering on the Sunday after Christmas, and participates in the annual choral concert benefitting Faith in Action Caregivers of Northeast Austin. Retreats and fellowship are also an important part of our chancel choir experience.
